Loss & Letting Go Workshop (1)
Time & Location
About the Event
Join us for a safe, gentle and creative experience as we move through "Loss & Letting Go." We have all experienced losses -- loss of a job, a relationship, a loved one, a home or a role (e.g., empty nesting). Through journaling, discussion and painting, we will listen to what our inner selves are trying to tell us.
The registration fee includes all materials and lunch. Cost is $79 per person. If you register with a friend, each person gets $10 off. Register soon -- space is limited. Registration ends September 9th, and we ask for a $25 deposit by that date.
Artistic talent is not needed. Only curiosity is a must! This is not about creating something to display. It is about creating something uniquely yours that may give you insight into your loss. To learn more about intuitive painting, check out these videos by intuitive artist Flora Bowley:
Here are some comments from our last workshop on "Transitions":
--- "Sufficient time and depth to get me thinking and to motivate me to move on into a positive direction -- thanks!"
--- "Excellent experience. This activity is perfect for grief support, hospice, chemical dependency, the unemployed-- the possibilities are endless."
--- "Exceeded my expectations. Comfortable for all ages of adults and guy-friendly. Useful and fun!"
Led by Linda Burandt, intuitive artist and Barb Bickford, discussion leader. Although we are not therapists, we have both lived through significant losses and are willing to walk with you for a time as you walk through yours.
